class A race i need help!

hey guys im stuck on the class A race with the f430 where you have to overtake as many cars as you can in one lap around the daytona road course. I simply cannot get any higher than 6th and i have lost count of how many times i have clicked restart lol

do any of you have any tips on how to do this race e.g TC levels ect?

yeah tc does slow you down but i just found that the f430 was even harder to handle without a little tc but i will give it another shot!
 
You have to forget all rules of normal racing, just use the other cars to stop and so on.
another good hint is to just brake a litte bit and then cut the "chicane" at the end of the lap it makes the difference from winning and just a 3 place.

Try these tips and otherwise come back and i will try to write a little guide :)

And dont worry you just need the first win and then the others will start rolling in.
 
anyone completed this event in professional mode? it's looking like its one for standard mode by the looks of it.
 
I still can't do this...I'm even using the pit lane to help on the first corner....
 
Just did this, it took about two hours with no aids in proffesional to get third place. I tried to keep it clean racing but tapped a couple of cars... Can't see how your meant to win this cleanly in Pro.
 
I've just finish on 1st place in this challenge. But I admit this challenge is pretty hard, although you should be able to finish 3rd relatively easy, if you a seasoned GT driver. I completed the lap in 2'00.515 using manual transmission, no active steering, no ASM, TC set to 1 and standard driving physics.
