I bought a challenger 1970 for 75k cr( 425 HP) ( from dealership)

I upgrade it close to 500 HP for the challenge, OK NOW WHAT GIVEs?

This car goes 115mph in the 4th gear ( that is the max limit for the car)

please god just tell me what is going on.

Is there a message being sent here about american cars?
 
Buy a fully customisable transmission and change the gears accordingly. Adding power but not changing the gear ratios just means you will accelerate through the gears faster but not necessarily increase your top speed. You need to use longer gears to give a higher top speed (at the expensive of acceleration of course).
 
That Challenger is all wrong. It sounds awful, limits way too low, and tops out at way too slow a speed. My uncle has one. I've been in it. This one is dead wrong.

Bought a used 454 Chevelle SS for $29K , put Med Sports tires on it, changed the oil and then went out and beat a hard charging 'Vette by .75 of a second....
