I'm in the middle of sorting out a group for Club Racing using Classic Cars. Was thinking of it being a "Classic Car, Club Racing" series with weekly meets. Each week a different classic car with a parade lap, stock (un-tuned) race and a fully modified (tuned) race.
Weekly meets could be split into 3 classes.
A-Class - 1960 to 1975
B-Class - 1976 to 1990
C-Class - Future Classics (Post 1991)
Depending on numbers, this could be 6 short races (individual classes) or 2 longer races (combined classes)
As for times and dates, i'm thinking of keeping it informal so each week a time and day would be set for the following meet. Race time would be more European friendly but everyone would be welcome and late night meets are a possibility.
This is just to see if there is much interest out there for this type of racing. If there is then i'll put the group together and start the first event. In the mean time i do quite a bit of classic car testing online so join me in the lobby.
