Sounds good, but I'd only be interested if the tyre limit is sports hard, or preferably comfort soft. Classics have to be able to slide! :)

Will be Sports Softs, wouldn't like to run a Cobra on Sports Hards with my 5 speed tranny and Supercharger :)

I'm interested in this and 6pm gmt is perfect

Good, you can count me in. :) I have a number of oldies, my current fave being the Mustang Mach 1.

Don't forget to ban the Buick Special and Art Morrison 'Vette!

Will anyone be up for some PP-limited practice tonight?

I also like the sound of this, 6pm shouldn't be a problem for the official meet time but we could get together at any time for a bit of adhoc practice/racing couldn't we?
i am usually on about 9pm is but to be honest have not done much online racing.

Ofcourse!! :)

What are the stipulations for tuning? Are the cars being left at Group N or are they being tuned?

We would prefer if people kept their cars stock but there is no real limit on tuning..

Problem with stock is there are such differences in HP ect. I'd like to use the Stratos for this but it'll be woefully underpowered against the likes of a Stingray for instance.

Great Idea though!!

I've done something to pretty much all my cars, but older ones I usually try to keep as historically accurate as possible. So that usually means no ECU, no carbon propshafts, no modern wheels, and no turbos (unless they had them on that kind of car at that time). Custom transmissions for American muscle cars, however, are something I insist on, because they just can't cut in on the straights otherwise.

well its early days we can decide on something

Opening a room now! Add TeamLotus_Europa on PSN and join my lounge for some fun in classic cars! :)

Saturdays are the best:tup:

Already running a race series on saturdays :(

Would anyone mind if we kept all the cars stock?

It keeps it, well, classic!

how did the first meet go?

My wife found me something more important but i will be there next week

what are the races you run on a saturday?

We didnt meet this week due to not being enough members. Saturdays I run a Japanese Racing Tournament. See my Signature.

Anything happening with this series?

I'm interested.

If the performance on each car is so different, will the tire choice be less restricted on the lower-powered cars? Just an idea.

I'm interested, what time is the competition on and what hp do the cars tend to be?

I may put the PP limit to about 540 for one class and 400 for another class. Any thoughts?

For a lot of cars, 540 might require quite a lot of tuning. I think 500 would be good for the quicker cars, like Yank muscles, the Miura/Countach, Cobras and 'Vettes. That's if you want the cars' characteristics reasonably close to stock spec. Slower cars, eg. Alfa Giulia GTA, Isuzu Bellett, 400 is about right with tuning, but no more than that. And of course, sports hards maximum for all cars. (I'm sure I can get my Cobra to behave on hards...!)

What about 515? :)

Edit: That is, to say, 515 pp for the faster cars.

i'd like to join the club :)
