A throw-back to the 1990's, one of the greatest era's of Touring Car racing.

Regulations and Information

All cars shall conform to the exact tune shown on the below post. IF A PART IS NOT ON THIS LIST, IT IS NOT ALLOWED. Failure to conform to the stated specifications will result in Points Deductions and possible Disqualifications.

Events are held in my Lounge - make sure "tombrooks97" is on your friends list.

My Lounge will open at 19:00 GMT. Qualifying will start at 19:10 GMT and will last 15 minutes, there will then be a 5 minute interval before the race starts T 19:30 GMT.

There will be 3 sprint races, each lasting around 10 minutes. Races 2 and 3 will be reverse grid events.

Races will be run from a Standing Start

Penalties are off.

Fuel Use and Tyre Wear is on.

Damage is limited

This is touring car’s so bumping, rubbing and small taps are par for the course. But excessive and deliberate moves across half the track to take someone out are disallowed. Remember – be hard but fair. Stewards will review incidents post race ad take appropriate action.

We will use the BTCC Points System: 15-12-10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1

You are NOT allowed to swap cars during the course of the season. Prior to the Season Start please make sure you have decided your car / team, and passed the information on to me.

Contact will happen in touring cars, but rear-ending someone hard so they run off into a corner is frowned upon. As is deliberating turning into someone in order to run them off the racing line. if someone has the racing line, they reserve the right to hold that line, only surrendering it if they move off it.

Quitting a race in anger or because you are running near the back of the pack will result in you starting on pole automatically for the next race. This is prohibited as it is a cheap way of gaining pole and in theory an easy to win. If this happens, in the race you MUST pull over at a designated pull-off zone on track as instructed and let the whole field through. Failure to do so will result in penalties. This may also be applied if you missed the previous race or got D/C’d.

Add the Skyline R32 GTS-t! :D

This is based on the BTCC Regulations, well with a few adaptations. I don't feel that the Skyline would fit in. I did originally have plans to enter the Primera but I couldn't get the power high enough. I do have plans for at least one other car though.

Loads of Japanese cars that would fit in well.

S13 Silvia, Skyline R32 GTS-t (The RWD one), Supra SZ-R, Honda Integra '95...

Dont think I could join though with that time.

I'm considering scrapping this and launching a different series.

Right guys, I am closing this thread as a New series is being set-up between DaxCobra and myself. All I can reveal is that it will be held on a Saturday afternoon between 3 and 4pm GMT.
