This is just a snapshot really, but outlines the night well. The amount of times this could of (would of) all gone wrong with "most people" and yet it didn't. The move the Porsche made to stay on the outside and ride it out all the way to the next left hander to regain the position was absolutely great, the complete lack of contact the whole time even though I was putting in some overtaking moves in a difficult area was commendable. I was popping out to put the guys off in-front coming into corners and slotting back in behind but nothing phased them. Had a great couple of hours tonight.

The GT sport thread was getting cluttered with online moaning. Really happy to see something positive once in a while about sport mode. (Which is great!)

This is why I do a lot of practice laps and try to get a good qualifying lap in before I even enter a sport mode race, 99% of the time these are the kind of people that I'm racing against as a result. It gives me a thrill that no other game genre has ever given me, nothing beats a hard (but fair) race.

It's really worth the effort to put that time in it and this game in particular has some of the best racing that I've experienced as a result. Although most of my online racing experience comes from Forza Motorsport so the bar wasn't set very high to begin with.

@GTWelsh good looking, I had tight pack racing also, 10+ racing until last corner, don't know did my opponent had a brain fart, or just something else, it still ended luckily for me.

I'm no fast driver, so hanging on end of fleet.. :)

This was Lobby mode :) the trick I think is to add fast clean racers as friends then join their rooms and visa versa, I see a few guys a lot and the races are getting better and better!

It’s great when you come up against people at your level who are clean and fair.

Yeah, it's a pleasure to race against people with good racecraft, who respect each others racing line. I was in the Daily Gr.3 4 laps Interlagos over the weekend with DR=>A/B and SR=>S drivers, and I'll let the replay videos below do the descriptions of what happened. Pos 2 to 5 were racing close and hard, but each gave the other enough racing space, and hardly any contact. It was great to be a part of that race pack, and seeing how good Sports Mode can be
