I have found it interesting over the past few weeks, now that my racing league has finished, just how bad some "racers" are and how good others are.
Racing in a league we have minimal problems with crashes and ramming being almost non existent, but jumping on some open lobbies i think i have worked out what "bad drivers" do to ruin the experience.
They try to pass on EVERY corner.
Anyone who understands racing knows that on some tracks there are only 2 or 3 genuine passing spots. Classic example yesterday, racing in a great room on spa, 630 pp, a couple of guys enter and straight away, after about 10 races of no issues through Eu Rouge, carnage. Guys who know what they are doing will sit behind, get through clean and get a tow down the straight, clean pass into the first chicane, job done.
Same at Monza, good racers will close up, get a tow and pass, ordinary will start last on the grid, then dive bomb at the first chicane and try to make up 10 spots.
Not a rant, just an observation that dawned on me after the calm of our racing league!!
