I've never had to clean the leather on my G25 in 8 years of ownership as I keep my hands clean & they're not sweaty fortunately. If I had to clean it I would use a sensitive baby wipe, lesser ingredients better for the leather imo. What wheel do you have?

I use G29 btw forget to mention that...is baby wipes safe? I think about leather cleaner or lotion but i dont know if it safe or not

Can't know for sure, as we don't know what creature the leather comes from, or what glues are used. I cleaned an old G25 with a leather cleaner & the wheel was always sticky afterwards. As for baby wipes, I've never used them on my wheel but have on leather furniture & they were fine.

I wish I was that lucky

I had g25 for 3-4 years it held pretty fine except some major contact points.
My g27 however started pealing much quicker and by bigger areas.

I was always cleaning them witch microfiber and it seamed that g27 is lower quality leather or that was just my luck (don't know about g29 tho)

I however have very sweaty hand because of cerebral palsy and spasticity. Even tho I use smooth gloves now (because of blistering) My BMW fanatec rim alcantara is getting smoother on on the right side where the contact point is with my thumb.

That is why I'm afraid in investing into the Porsche rim It is tempting tho.

I use a microfiber cloth and isopropyl alcohol to clean it.

I also use that for literally everything else.
