That might be an oversimplification!

Actually, what I'm doing is participating in a fundraiser for the World Wildlife Fund. Last year, over $1.7M was raised to support the fight against habitat and ecological destruction. This year, I'm taking part in the campaign, and on April 17th, as part of that, I will be climbing the almost-1800 stairs of the CN Tower to the top for your support.

My official goal is to raise $100 — it's small, but it's realistic as I haven't participated in a fundraiser since the Terry Fox Run in elementary school. If you can donate anything at all, it would be appreciated. Any charitable contributions of $20 or more will net you a tax receipt, as well.

You find out more about it here.

You donate here. It currently accepts Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

I'm trying to find a way to collect donations by cash and other forms—but it looks like the way to do it is by collecting, and then making the donation myself by credit. . . not very good.

Even if you can't contribute, you can still pass this on to anyone you like!

Thank you all,

-Greg

50% of the way there! Thank you!

Edit: Due to the great support, I've raised my goal to $500. This should be achievable.

As an added incentive, I will now wear a costume of the highest donor's choice during the climb.

As a further incentive, I'm climbing with him. If I reach $100 as well, I will join him in the costumed shenanigans. For example, I'll dress as Pedobear panda, and chase him up the stairs while he's in a catholic school uniform.

My donation link is as follows: http://my.e2rm.com/personalPage.aspx?registrationID=831549&LangPref=en-CA

How's THAT for my first post in... a very long time.

I'm in if that goes on YouTube. And Chris Hansen has to be following with an NBC crew.

Note that I only agree to what eMad proposes if it's in the demands of the highest donor, and the raised limit has been met.

. . . God have mercy.

There's a reason the ladies have nicknamed me 'furry'. I'll gve you a hint. I don't need a costume to fulfill the name.

Schoolgirl Greg ftw
