That might be an oversimplification!
Actually, what I'm doing is participating in a fundraiser for the World Wildlife Fund. Last year, over $1.7M was raised to support the fight against habitat and ecological destruction. This year, I'm taking part in the campaign, and on April 17th, as part of that, I will be climbing the almost-1800 stairs of the CN Tower to the top for your support.
My official goal is to raise $100 it's small, but it's realistic as I haven't participated in a fundraiser since the Terry Fox Run in elementary school. If you can donate anything at all, it would be appreciated. Any charitable contributions of $20 or more will net you a tax receipt, as well.
You find out more about it here.
You donate here. It currently accepts Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
I'm trying to find a way to collect donations by cash and other formsbut it looks like the way to do it is by collecting, and then making the donation myself by credit. . . not very good.
Even if you can't contribute, you can still pass this on to anyone you like!
Thank you all,
-Greg
