afternoon boys/ladies! just joined this forum today but already ive got a question for anybody whos interested. Im a big fan of the clio v6, but not the race car as it is bought not built! however i bought the race car out of interest the other day and managed to pull 1'20 on trial mountain. I was just wonderin what a respectable time would be with this car. It had 513 bhp.

Welcome to GTP!

I too like the Clio racer. I creamed the Beginner MR in it, but I don't have records of my times at hand. I did some OLR at the Seattle course, and the good lap times were around 1':36.xxx"-1':38.xxx" with the car in stock form.

See you around GTP,

welcome.
is this the same car you can win in the SS enduro? If so I just won this ( I was pissed I didnt get the f1 car) but I was disappointed in its performance.

Yes, it is. It's not a horsepower demon, but it handles beautifully and can use that advantage to beat many 'faster' cars. I ran the Seattle Enduro in a stock Clio racecar and had two laps on the Viper by the end.

Yeah I had a blast with my almost Stock Clio in the SCC, duked it out with many good cars. Neon Duke's team was the only other team that had the Clio. That car is very very agile and light. It turns great too, love that MR...

It's a really fun car to use on tracks with more curves than straights, the cornering ability can usually cover its lack of top-end power then. Plus its light weight means it's fairly easy on a set of tires too.

I've noticed you can put rally tires on it as well... I'm thinking of taking mine for a spin around Tahiti Maze sometime to see if it likes playing in the dirt too.

Yes. Yes it does indeed like the dirt, or so I've been told.

thanks for ya replies ladz, as you all say it does handle beautifully in the twistees and it literally sticks to the track but it can also drift when you want it to. however it is very unforgiving of the drivers mistakes and its lack of top end isnt much of a problem
