As we all know that cars keep shuffling in the used car dealership! I've reached level 27 & have finished all of races in A-Spec mode till Formula Gran Turismo in the Extreme series!

To take part in this race, a Formula Gran Turismo car is required & 4 million+ credits required to buy it! A few days back, a Formula Gran Turismo car appeared in the used card dealership but unfortunately I had some 2,900,000 credits only! I was cursing myself because the Formula Gran Turismo cars are so much fun to drive & unlike GT4 it can't be purchased at will from a dealer! It's plain random luck which could deliver a car in the used car dealership which might be required for the next big race!

In couple of days since then I've got about 4,500.000 credits but the Formula Gran Turismo car has gone! Sheesh:ouch:! Don't know now when again will this car appear in the used car dealership?

Have you gone through this pain?
 
You know there is a FGT in the Online Dealer at all times...
 
You can't connect your PS3 online to buy one from the OCD?
 
Yeah, unfortunately it's awkwardly random as to the cars that show up in the UCD (Used Car Dealership).

If you still have the funds, you can quickly cycle through five license tests - without taking them, of course, as it would make the process go by slower - to refill the UCD with thirty new choices. Also, as others have mentioned there seems to always be a Formula Gran Turismo available in the OCD (Online Car Dealership).

However, if you don't have the funds any longer, there's still a relatively painless way to obtain the car. It does hinge, however, on trading.

Yes, the Formula Gran Turismo is over the 1,000,000 credit trade limit. However, the Formula Gran Turismo is only one of three cars one can get from redeeming a "Level 24" ticket. Find someone with one of these tickets they'd be willing to trade (or purely gift) to you. Before you open it, save your progress then exit the game. When you're back to the XMB save your game date to a USB drive, then start GT5 back up. Now you can redeem the ticket. If you don't get a Formula Gran Turismo, quit the game, and copy the game data that's on the USB drive back to your PS3 (overwriting the redemption of that ticket). When you go back and start the game again, it will be like you never tried to redeem the ticket. Repeat as needed until you get your Formula Gran Turismo.
