Further explanation of the theme, as described by Giulietta73:

"Who remembers the joy of finally reaching Level 30 and entering the Vettel Challenge for the
first time? For me it was a morning to remember, and an afternoon (and many weeks after that)
to forget!!!! I still carry the scars!! The high pitched whine as you leave Monza pits still haunts me.
So I thought it would be cathartic to go back and exorcise a few ghost cars!!:banghead:
I will put one on share should anyone want one. 👍"

CAR: Vettel Red Bull X2010.
LOCATION: Monza (both tracks).
UNIQUE RESTRICTIONS: Capture the crazy speed of that source of joy/hate!!.

This Thread has everything you need to know.

  • There must be at least some detail of the background (location) visible in the picture that can later be identified to be part of the location specified in the theme. If the location is not immediately clear from the picture you must provide the exact location if it's queried.
  • Only one entry per user allowed and must be that user's own work and never used in another competition.
  • Do not ask other members to choose your entry.
  • Entry post must be marked with a FINAL ENTRY text.
  • Entries may only be changed once and it must be indicated clearly.
  • Entries must be posted in either thumbnail or a preview and linked to it's full size.
  • Posts containing bigger previews than allowed, full sizes or links only will be ignored.
  • Previews should not exceed the limit of 500px in either direction and have any effect not present in the original image.
  • It's recommended the usage of a free image hosting service, such as ImageShack, Photobucket or Flickr.
  • Only the Judge's favourite 15 entries will get through to the poll.
  • Keep in mind that the Host of this competition may ask for the original image and it must be submitted if so.
    It's recommended to store the original image (from the USB stick) until competition week ends.

  • No other editing, besides proportionally resize and rotate, is allowed outside GT5 Photomode.

Interesting choice for the theme Guilietta - the photos should be interesting as well. If people are honest, most of the photos will show the X2010 up against a wall or in the dirt... :) Seriously though, Monza was my best track on that challenge. I remember putting up great 1st laps and dying horribly many times on the second lap. Stringing two laps together was the difficulty.
 
Yeah, or struggling with snap oversteer on the exit of the Ascari chicane!:lol:

I noticed that taking snaps while cornering in the X2010 amplified the background blur.
So I wondered how arty and abstract can you get? Lets find out:tup:​

I must say, you were a beginner not a few months ago. Now, you're a weekly victor in the competitions. 👍 It took me over a year to greatly improve my photography skills and gain a victory.
