Further explanation of the theme, as described by ijkhk4:

"The Civic Type R is a really nice 4 cylinders sport car. I would like to see some high speed
shot in this challenging Motegi track. The Civic must be in motion."

the rules may result in disqualification. If you have any questions, please, send me a Private Message.

This Thread has everything you need to know.

  • There must be at least some detail of the background (location) visible in the picture that
    can later be identified to be part of the location specified in the theme. If the location is
    not immediately clear from the picture you must provide the exact location if it's queried.
  • Only one entry per user allowed and must be that user's own work and never used in another
    competition.
  • Do not ask other members to choose your entry.
  • Entry post must be marked with a FINAL ENTRY text.
  • Entries may only be changed once and it must be indicated clearly.
  • Entries must be posted in either thumbnail or a preview and linked to it's full size.
  • Posts containing bigger previews than allowed, full sizes or links only will be ignored.
  • Previews should not exceed the limit of 500px in either direction and have any effect not
    present in the original image.
  • It's recommended the usage of a free image hosting service, such as ImageShack, Photobucket
    or Flickr.
  • Only the Judge's favourite 15 entries will get through to the poll.
  • Keep in mind that the Host of this competition may ask for the original image and it must
    be submitted if so.
    It's recommended to store the original image (from the USB stick) until competition week ends.

  • No other editing, besides proportionally resize and rotate, is allowed outside GT5 Photomode.

It's a DLC theme this week so if those who have can help out those who have not it would be greatly appreciated I'm sure.
Hosting a private lobby session at the track or uploading a replay are two options that come to mind. ;)

How does the uploading a replay thing work? I thought it was a case of a friend adding a replay to favourites then others could view it but i couldn't view my friends favourites when we tried it?

You have to export it from your GT5 replay theatre, then upload to a file hosting service so others can download it and import back into their GT5 replay theatre.

Thanks, i was going about it completely wrong, i just thought it was like the 'photo albums' and car share where if you added them to your favourites others could view or use them.
 
Cool theme... I quite enjoy this track, it's great to drive on and you can get some realistic photos quite easily :)
 
This car looks like 2500 lbs of car. Kinda boring. However, the blue on this car looks really good. I don't know whether to go with partial color or full color.
 
Hi all, I have uploaded 2 replay. One replay is a blue Civic Type R without mod and the other is a white one with full mod. This is my first time uploading the replay and the file is (here).

@driftinziggy: Please use the Twin Ring Motegi Road Corse. Since this is a CCCL competition, I would like to see picture with some indication of the course as well.

I'm with McZ...this is not a pretty car. :O It has some interesting features but still feels a little plain. Oh well.

Nice entries so far and sorry if the theme/car is too boring for you. Hope the winner will have a better theme this week :)
 
I wouldn't say that the theme is boring. To me it's just that the car is so common, at least where I am, I don't really take much notice of it in the first place. :O It's a little bit like taking pictures of the traffic down the road...but with fewer Camrys. :D
 
I don't mind the theme so much although I admit getting that wow factor with it is tough...i know I didn't really enter a great shot
