Well to be perfectly honest there isn't a lot to crit on mate. Your Italia shot is definitely better than the C7 shot so you made the right choice.
Your entry is quite a good shot and I liked the toning, light and shadows in it most. The only little thing that didn't quite make me decide to poll it was the fact that the car is pointed away from the negative space in the image, which leads your eye off to the side and away from the shot as a whole.
If the composition had the car facing the other way or just panned so the car sat on the other side of thr frame it would lead your to the centre of the photo and draw you in a bit more.
Other than that it's a nice shot. It very nearly made poll, but I had so many more shots on the modern side than the old side which made it pretty tough.
