Great composition and mood there Wallbreaker.

Any feedback on mine anyone? Although I'm really not surprised I didn't make it, the standard is through the roof this week

Wow these are all really amazing!!!
When I put mine in I thought I had a chance, but looking back, I see where I went wrong :dunce:

It's the lack of LIGHT that left mine out the poll, I'm sure of it. It's just too dark...

^^ This would have been much better! :dunce::dunce::dunce:

Maybe a little editing will help your picture, Tweetman. ;)

Probably, but there was no time! Haha I took it just about an hour or two before I thought the thing closed... And it was late night where I am, so I knew I'd only manage to ruin it. But next time... Next time I might actually acheive something :p

I would've thought the photo of the Blitz R34 would get more votes, that is a very creative piece.

Ferrari_458, I felt your picture was a touch underexposed, yet the sun is completely blown out. Also, it would've helped the picture immensely if you panned the camera further down and to the left, because right now the car is too close to the lower edge of the picture and there's too much wasted space on the right. To be honest, I preferred your previous entry more, although that too would've been better if you zoomed in further on the car.

ShadowPeter, simply put, the picture was just way too dark. If you upped the exposure, it would've been so much better.

gjeff12, first of all, the picture feels really awkward with the car in the centre and close to the bottom of the picture. Also, as I've said to other people elsewhere, tilting the camera would've enhanced the sense of speed of the picture. Plus, the overexposure in the centre of the picture has made the car look like it's made of plastic and also blown out the detail of the left headlight, which was what I would've wanted to see. In addition, I would've liked the picture better if you didn't fit the car with slicks; also, I'm not a big fan of red wheels.

, while it is true that the picture is excessively underexposed, a lack of light by itself wouldn't be enough to have kept you out of the polls. The entries belonging to Wallbreaker, MusicalArtist and SlipZtrEm are also on the darker side of things, but whatever light they had lit up all the right parts of the picture, and the composition on all of them are bang on. On your entry, the car is too close to the bottom edge of the picture, and you could've parked/captured the car at a slightly different angle so that the right side of the car reflected more of the sunlight. It seems that you have also used the warm filter, and while that is an easy way to add contrast to the picture, it also sucked out most of the colour from the picture, and as you can see from the pictures in the poll, I prefer images that use a wide gamut of colour. The image you posted might have worked if you upped the exposure and contrast and played around with the colours a bit, though I'd rather you zoomed out to include more of the car.

Voted for SlipZtrEm, such gorgeous tones!

That's really helpful! It was the light and dark I missed... I lost too much brightness and colour in trying to make the sun look more sunny.
Also, I never took either of those shots for this competition, more, saw the title and thought I could enter. But thanks again, because I can take all that into account for my pictures, because I'm beginning to think I'm not spending enough time making them perfect. 👍

Damnit, Wallbreaker. You got one more vote than me.

That doesn´t mean anything ;)

Quite surprised that I got 12 votes and let alone even made the poll with this high of a bar, thanks guys! 👍
