Further explanation of the theme, provided by Gtuned:

"I had a lot of themes in mind, but seeing as I won best gallery in
the Photomode awards, this theme is stolen, errr inspired by Moglet's theme.
I'd like to see my shots taken on by everyone. Once again, like Mog's, I don't
want to see exact copies, but rather inspired by shots. So take a look through
my gallery, and my Flickr for more shots. Also for a little extra challenge if
you want, take a look at my Real Life Photography Flickr, and try to take shots from there."

Amazing poll, so happy to be part of it too.

Voted for DarkR's Mercedes, simply stunning.

Amazing, amazing entries! Usually I have to choose from 2 or max 3 entries ...
This time ...
We - the voters - are the biggest winners!

Just know that I wouldn't get into the poll, so many great entries
Anyway, criticism, Gtuned?

May I have some feedback please ? :nervous:

I LOVE THAT PICTURE!!!! But I'm no photo expert, so that's about as far as my feedback goes. I think it is an awesome picture. Very cool use of blurring effects and wide angle. Very cool. I'm gonna use it as a wallpaper if you don't mind

Glad you like you :) I'm certainly wouldn't mind you use it as your wallpaper

I know I'm not Gtuned but I thought I'd try and give some feedback on the people who's entries missedout.

Feedback please.

Images in that aspect ratio rarely look spectacular as the car will always be very close to the middle of the frame. When conveying a sense of speed or movement you might want to try moving the car around in the frame so it looks like it's going somewhere, travelling forwards.

The car doesn't really 'pop' either as it's entirely covered by shade.

Just know that I wouldn't get into the poll, so many great entries

Your photo is a nice, natural, well composed image. However the front wheel has been stretched really badly by the fisheye effect of having such a wide angle lens. You've also left the GT5 logo in the image and it can be quite distracting. Obviously not everyone has the ability to remove it with photo editing software but it's always worth considering where it will be in your final photo.

Feddback please?

Again, great composition as the dark and light areas contrast nicely leading your eye across the image and across the cars. But the GT5 logo is really distracting here as it's placed against a dark background and the 'flares' from the lights aren't too pleasing on the eye either.

Feedback for me too please:

A nice idea, and placing the car there was the perfect choice for location but the compression in the photo is really really bad. Take a look at the rear lights especially. Red cars always produce bad artifacts and noise, something worth considering when shooting in the future. 👍

Feedback ?

I really like this shot, it has a fair whack of Gtuned's style to it and the wide angle works well with the huge spoiler.

May I have some feedback please ? :nervous:

A fantastic idea, but the sky is horrifically compressed. It looks like pixel-art in places. My theory is always the same; if you can't carry off the idea without it looking rough and exposing the games weaknesses then you can't carry off the idea at all. Had the sky been as smooth as the car then this would have been epic but I fear that the original image can't be imitated within the 2.0 rules.

Hmm. I thought that might hold me up. I noticed the pixely effect around the lights and then re-edited it to get rid of the sharpening which softened it slightly, but anywho, thanks for the feedback. :)👍

ShadowPeter - There didn't seem to be any editing, a higher contrast or some use of Dodging and Burning would of helped it alot.

GT HP Nut - The Editing was great, and the shot idea was too, just the wide angle distortion and odd tilt made the picture look a bit off.

nfdids - The shot was rather boring, what looks like no editing as well, and it seemed very snapshot-ish

FordMKIVJ5 - The shot was very nice, but it was one that I had to just cutout, it was basically my #16 pick.

LanceVance - Oversaturated, a high f/number, and a bit of the tires were chopped off.

RED3MON - I really, Really, Really wanted to put the shot in, but all the artifacts really killed it for me. As for the original picture, it was a single shot, RG edited it so I don't know what exactly he did to it, but try switching to a fliter and back to reveal more of the sky.

:O Good to know that from an expert, been a long time since the last editing.
Thanks for feedback, Gtuned!

Damn bro, way too harsh.

Art is entirely subjective, I was simply giving my opinion. As far as I'm aware it's not against the AUP to post an opinion on these forums. However if the photographer is offended then I'll apologise.

Any feedback? Think its the sky compression artifacts :yuck:

Loved the idea and shot, but the framing looked odd in landscape, vertical would of looked alot better imo.

Thanks for the feedback f1webberfan, Moglet and Gtuned.

It is what happens to be 99.9% concentrated in the special event S. Vettel... :(
