Had to vote for the cat. It's just hillarious that such a picture can be taken in a car game. Well done Aragam :)👍

Aw man! Didn't make it! :ouch:

Any criticisms?

I'll be giving feedback on every single entry once I get home. If yours didn't make it the chances are that it was still a good photo but just wasn't as original as some of the others. I went for the more 'out of the ordinary' photos for this poll as truly original entries often get overlooked. I hope people understand what I'm getting at; how many polls have you seen that have looked this varied? :p

The link on this shot does not work, apparently the photo is set as 'private' on Flickr.

Guess mine wasn't too original like Moglet said  Anyways great poll. Here's my entry again: (bigger this time)

Was going to whine/complain ask for feedback (:p), but then I saw that you mentioned what I suspected that you'd do Mog, so I realised the issue with mine. Damn you and your innovation-requiring themes.

Great poll, and hey, would you look at that. I think I might've guessed the correct entry for the win.

I am officially never giving feedback on every single entry ever again.

FishyJuice - A nice setup, great colour balance and an aggressive angle. It was just short of making the poll due to the fact that a Racing Modified car looked so out of place in that location.

arsenal1992 - Great reflections, nice car choice and that paint! The foreground kept distracting me though. My only complaint but it was a fairly big one.

mazda787 - Nice car and location choice but nothing made it stand out from the crowd.

Ironbash - It's good to see an interior shot on here, and it fits the theme perfectly. The reason it didn't make it was because of the almost 50/50 divide and the right hand window creeping in from the edge of the frame.

LanceVance - A bit over-processed for my tastes. The floor has a lot of compression noise dotted about and the entire image looks 'bandy' in places.

benda18 - I simply didn't like the colour choice for this one. The composition was great, though.

rpanico14 - A well composed image and a nice bit of tilt shift, coupled with a nice car colour choice to balance the grey tones of the location.

ZEROX - Nice use of colour with the car standing out from the black background but the fade ruined it for me. I'm not sure what the intention was in making it fade to B&W...

Ferrari_458 - A very nice idea but it felt a little cheesy to me. I honestly think that if the car had not had red headlights it might have made the poll.

Rekve - This made the poll even without me viewing the full size. It was a risk, but I think it was worth taking. The composition is completely original and it's a nice simple image without the need for much editing.

GTCHAMPION1 - An orange car works well against a green background but the entire image seems to have an orange tint to it, taking away the stark contrast you would have achieved with a nice green background.

FordMKIVJ5 - Several things struck me here; The compression of the car bodywork (red doesn't lend itself to dark photos from GT5) and the angle the entire photo was taken at. It's on a tilt, but only ever so slightly and it threw my eye out a little.

akmuq - A great car choice but it was pretty over-exposed.

nt1138 - Lots and lots of weird noise all over the image. I'm not sure what filter you applied but it didn't do much for me I'm afraid.

bmxmitch - Completely unique, totally original, well composed, well balanced and perfectly edited.

RED3MON - I really liked this photo, the angle and shallow depth of field made the car look great and the colour of the car worked well with the passing tram. The reason it didn't make it was because I was drawn to the more original entries. Had it been any other week, this would have been up there.

StrayShadow - You did an excellent job of metering for this one, as the car and the ground are very very well exposed without any issues appearing, but it wasn't exciting enough for me.

Aragam - Another totally unique photo, well composed and well thought out. The background works in harmony with the colour of the cat and it struck me as a nice take on the theme.

zambuca - I chose this because of the location choice. Shooting in that direction in that location is hard enough as it is, but making the photo look like that? A great idea. It somehow appears to be moving even though it's not.

Beeblebrox237 - Another one that almost made it as it's very original and a brilliant bit of photography but the green tone was too much. Had the colours remained in their original state it might have been in the poll.

CCXRacer - Pin sharp with excellent editing and nice car positioning. I'm a big fan of shooting from behind objects and it works very well here.

hgrf93 - I really like the layout of this photo, and I don't believe the location has ever been used this well before! But the front wheel is completely missing and it was too distracting for me.

TVR&Ferrari_Fan - A great take on the location, and a good use of sillhouettes too.

McZachenF138 - Another excellent idea, and very original, but the building texture was simply too 'busy' to let my eye explore the image.

jjjkr20 - Great idea! Unfortunately most of the image is really blurry and only the center of the photo is in focus!

jus1029 - Any other week, this would have been right up there. It was very close to making it but it just wasn't unique enough to get there. The red on the left was also a little distracting but nothing that would ruin the image.

vrajdeber - The front of the car is out of focus, and it was too obvious for me to let it go through to the poll.

incendius - Great composition and a nice 'story' type photo. It screams 'action!' even though nothing is happening...yet.

Ddrizle - The image was too busy here, the car barely even stood out from the distracting background.

Miklad - I have no idea how you got the textures to look sooooo good but they're insanely realistic and this looks like a piece of abstract art. I love stuff like this!

GT HP Nut - A great use of black and white photography, but the car being off center and turned to the side looked a bit weird given the symmetry of the rest of the photo.

rev91 - I just loved the tones and approach taken here. It looks as if someone is sneaking round a corner to grab a snapshot of a resting beast.

Fido_le_muet - Once again an original photo that screamed quality but cutting the front edge of the car off made the image look a little awkward to me.

maveric25 - The first thing I saw here was the cathedral and not the car as it was placed so close to the bottom of the frame.

przemekszulim - Great realism and composition but the choice of car felt a little odd to me. Why shoot such an aggressive beast in such a subdued way?

CCShaft7 - This was the last photo to be cut from the poll unfortunately. The only reason being that the area to the left of the helmet was a bit distracting due to the noise on the background.

bunchchristian - This just goes to show that fancy editing isn't necessary at all. A completely original, unique and well composed photograph that caught my eye the moment it appeared.

cphbullet - The overexposed sky was very distracting here, and my eye was drawn to that instead of the rest of the image.

Fyshokid - No matter which area of this photo I looked at, I could see that orange light in the bottom right out of the corner of my eye.

ShadowPeter - This looked great in the preview but in the small size the poor textures became apparent.

Raphaele - A story telling photo that would have worked even better had we been able to see more of the background. Zooming in on the couple and darkening the rest of the image didn't quite do it for me unfortunately.

Nato_777 - It's a very very nice landscape photo but I was looking for a more original take on this sort of the scene.

DeathAlley - There is a LOT of noise in this photo and I'm not sure why. The car is also placed very close to the edge of the frame.

Sir Tuddle - Too many colours in one place. I had no idea where to look when I first glanced at it!

Boabdulrahman - A great car and location shot but it was forced out by more unique image I'm afraid.

SMFan - Silhouette work to die for! Good choice of car and nice work with the sky but the position of the car seemed a little random given the angle of the sunlight.

JediRage - A very blurry image that is so zoomed in it shows up GT5's textures. Had this been more detailed it would have been a nice image to photograph.

mattmflok - A little too 'safe' for my liking, this one.

jonjwlee - Gorgeous bokeh here, but the location could have been used in a more unique way IMO. On another week this could have been up there.

NascarManiaco99 - Another very busy image, having the background in focus when the car is so close to the camera is generally not that nice on the eye.

ceiling_fan - A little too plain for my tastes. Although the composition and lighting is brilliant, it just didn't 'pop' out at me like some other photos did.

Revoy - Fantastic tones, nice composition and a great take on the location.

youtimestwo - Very blurry due to GT5's textures but still, those textures are clearly blurry in game!

gjeff12 - A nice idea but the contrast gave me retina burn! ;)

DarkR - Adding movement to Phototravel is always a good thing in my books but something about the wheels of the car looked odd to me. Like it appears to be floating somehow...

guuner - This was a fantastic photo but unfortunately it was similar to another entry that had a more interesting composition going for it......

ghskilla....and it was this one. You can see the faces of both the dog and the man and it makes the connection more apparent. It looks like a real piece of street photography!

Dolp - Even though the background textures are fairly blurry, it sorta works because the photo was taken looking through glass doors. A keen eye must have been used to get this shot!

ijkhk4 - Look at his face! Great idea, well composed and another keen eye must have been needed here but the guy in the background threw the image off balance for me.

RedSuns-Ryuu - There was a fair bit of compression going on here but that silhouette is instantly identifiable and the car matched the background really well. The bright light on the right balanced the darker area below it nicely too.

MegaJoshh - There is too much of the car filling the frame here. The theme was Phototravel and you can barely tell that it was taken in that mode as the car is so prominent.

I am officially never giving feedback on every single entry ever again.

NascarManiaco99 - Another very busy image, having the background in focus when the car is so close to the camera is generally not that nice on the eye.

Might be the high aperture, because I did focus on the car. Well, mistaking and learning.

The link on this shot does not work, apparently the photo is set as 'private' on Flickr.

Fix'd.
I really don't know why that happened, I never messed around with that option for this pic as far as I recall.

I am officially never giving feedback on every single entry ever again.

Thanks for the feedback, though. I really appreciate and admire the effort of judges who take the time to give feedback on all the entries. :)👍

Thanks for the feedback Mog 👍

I was hoping the red headlights would make it a bit more unique and evil looking, but I can see how they are not to everyone's tastes...

Thanks for the feedback Moglet (and the nice comments :D). 👍

Was disappointed upon realising my image was not in the poll, but then I too suspected that you were looking for more unique shots and so didn't feel so bad. Kudos for trying to find something different. 👍

Thanks for the feedback:), as its my first proper 2.0 entry i'd appreciate any other criticisms that people have.

Inspiration by cphbullet, on Flickr

I thought the lamppost behind the car might be a problem, if anyone had spotted it.

Thanks for that feedback Mog.
I thought the blur would focus better on the jet but guess not.

CCShaft7 - This was the last photo to be cut from the poll unfortunately. The only reason being that the area to the left of the helmet was a bit distracting due to the noise on the background.

Phew... Thanks Mog, to hear that is a massive relief :), lost my confidence a little tbh when I didn't make the poll but all is well again in the house of CCShaft.

... and kudos for taking the time to review every entry 👍 (not sure I could have done that myself  ).

bunchchristian - This just goes to show that fancy editing isn't necessary at all. A completely original, unique and well composed photograph that caught my eye the moment it appeared.

Thanks for the nice comment! :D

Thanks for the fb Mog - apprecited :)👍 I know how much effort is required, but it makes you feel good doesn't it? :dopey:

Congratulations Revoy, the newcomer has beaten the crafty veterans this week!
