Further explanation of the theme, provided by ceiling_fan:

"This week I would like you to travel to Cape Ring and capture two of the most interesting parts of the track. The first would be the "vortex" cloud formation (example, courtesy of Moglet) and the second would be the circular donut section of the track. Remember, this is an H2H week so choose one or the other."

CARS: Any
LOCATIONS: Cape Ring

Surprised nobody has picked up on the subtle flares and stuff in the McLaren shot... :sly:👍

Very very very good shot - love it - but...?

If I'm wrong I apologise!

You are wrong. They're small adjustments to the brightness using the dodge tool. Nothing was added to that picture so it's perfectly within the rules. Also 99% of that photo was acheived using the warm fliter trick.

trying to sway the votes Miklad? tut tut :)

Yeah, it's a good shot, but it doesn't really have any relevance to the theme. The only way I can tell it's part of the doughnut is by the red on the road. The reflection may be part of it, but you can't tell that the reflection is indeed the doughnut. So yeah, why it's a nice looking shot, my vote has to go to the LFA. Suited the theme the best.

Hey no not at all lad! As I said, I love the shot and apologies if I'm wrong! It just *looked* like you'd added flares to the rear lights and the corners of the bodywork. :D

(And how can I sway votes when I'm not in the poll? Tut tut...)

Love your stuff Lee - you know I do - it's just that I've been caught out by this before. :D

I know mate that's why i used the dodge tool on the bodywork instead of adding a glare using a brush which is what i'd normally do. It keeps it legal like! You could also highlight an area where you'd want a glow and adjust the brightness to achieve the same effect and stay within the rules. hehe :)

I was only kidding about the vote swaying. I doubt i'll win regardless anyway, there are some cracking shots this week!

Man...I really miss doing these. Ever since my driving force gt broke after only a year. I haven't played gt in forever.

Makes me want to suck it up and go back to using a controller.
