Theme: Your Best Shot
Description: Give your best to open a whole new 3.0. There are no rules, no restrictions. You are allowed to put everything in your shot. Good luck.
Series Description:
The revamped 3.0 series aims to provide a competition where the highest quality of entries are produced, much like 3.0 back in GT5.
We will still be running on a bi-week format, renamed cycles.
This time, the rules are placed in the hands of each cycle's judge i.e., every winner gets to decide the rules of the next cycle, be it no vignettes, no adding of foreign materials; anything!
To keep the competition tight and winning meaningful, the poll size has been reduced to 7 per cycle, instead of the standard 15. Judging will be tougher to ensure only the best make it through each cycle.
The top 3 entries will receive a trophy border indicating their victories and acts, in a way, as a prize of winning a cycle.
In addition to the trophies, badges will also be provided to the top 3 entries. The badges are as shown below and the range of badges will most definitely continue to increase.
Also, a victors' gallery will be opened to showcase the podium entries. The podium participants are invited to give a short description/story to their entries, as well as a judge's message. [tentative]
Every 5th (tentative) cycle, a 'quarter quell' (still haven't thought of a name yet, think Hunger Games
) will be held where the rules will be decided by the house to keep the competition fresh. These rules will twist the competition to make each 'quarter quell' something special with different conditions and something to give to each victor of a quarter quell. (Maybe the next quarter quell could be decided by them?)Oh, and for this series, there is no limit on updating to entries and changes of entries.
The Series is in its beta stage if you may look it so and is subject to change.

THIS IS CYCLE 1, THE 7 POLL LIMIT IS LIFTED, ALL WILL BE MADE THROUGH.
- Every cycle's rule set decided by judges, unlike 3.0 before in which the rules were somewhat unclear.
- Poll size is now 7.
- Judging is tougher to push only the best through to poll.
- Trophies are provided in form of borders to podium entries.
- Badges, akin to achievements in PSN, will be awarded.
- A Victors' Gallery will be opened to showcase podium entries and judges, along with entrants are invited to give a description/comments on entries.
- Each 5th cycle will see a special cycle like a quarter quell in The Hunger Games in which the rules are decided by the house and special conditions will be given.
- No limit on updating/changing entries.
- New stuff will be coming!

Please, ensure you read and understand all requirements for this competition. Failure to follow

This Thread will answer many possible questions you may have.
- It is recommended you host your image on ImageShack, Photobucket, or Flickr.
- Not sure how to post a thumbnail or preview image? Read this sticky!
- Please use a clickable-preview to full-size, not a separate text link for it; it makes poll creation much easier!
- One entry per user. It must be your own work, and never previously used in a comp.
- Do not ask other users to choose your entry.
- Absolutely no hybrid, hacked cars, or cars obtained through such means.
- Mark your FINAL ENTRY clearly, with red text.
- You may change your entry as many times as you want. Do it clearly; edit out your previous entry, and either post the new one in a new reply, or in place of the original.
- When submitting, use either a thumbnail or a preview image, linked to the full-sizer.
- Preview images can not exceed 500 pixels in either direction.
- A preview image must be representative of the full-size image. Do not add effects to it.
- Do not post "Honourable Mentions" or outtakes - just your Final Entry, that's all.
- Winner gets to choose the following cycle's theme, as well as the Top 7.
- Winners cannot enter in their own theme!
- The Host and moderators may ask for the original image and it must be submitted if so.
It's recommended to save the original image (preferably in-game) until cycle's ends.
