Looks to me like the metallic yellow from the DLC paint

That is not DLC paint. I just pick this yellow when I sort by paint list by pearl. I think that's the LFA yellow pearl color.

Yes it doesn't show much of the track. I think the picture will look much better in landscape orientation so the top and bottom will be less empty.

It will be better if the camera is shift a little bit to the right so that it will show the car a bit more and eliminate the black strip on the lower left of the picture. I want to see more contrast in this picture as well, the area below the tail light is completely dark.

Yes it is too wide but this is a nice angle. A few entries use this corner.


For CCCL competition, I think getting a good balance of the car and the track is the biggest challenge compare to other competitions in this forum. So I try to give shots that I can see both the track and the car with a higher priority.

I can regonize the track. I think using a 1:1 aspect ratio and not using the warm filter may make the shot better. The white line on the track is quite distracting.
