Technically yours was a very good photo, the location was chosen well and the colour balance was nice too, but the fact it was shot from such a wide angle distorted the car really badly. Unfortunately it really made the shot look awkward to me.

It may seem like a small thing but the poll was very hard to choose and I had to start discounting entries for small things just to get the top 20 picked!

No probs 👍 I'm very satisfied with your explanation and I understand how subjective the final choices can be, possibly should have stuck with my first entry , off to check the exif data to see where I went wrong.

You realize partial colour is just cars and certain track objects? (such as the cones on the TGTT)

The background is black and white, but the cars still have their colour.

Once again, a very good photo. But it doesn't really show much of the location which is something I was looking for. There are a few shots in the poll that also don't show the location fully but I felt that their artistic side made up for it as they were always a bit different.
