Further explanation of the theme, as described by Crooooooow:

"..A premium, the Bugatti Veyron. Yes, fans were excited to read about their beloved super car
being featured in the fifth installment to the Gran Turismo series, but their reason to live was
demolished when they realized their machine of enchantment was horribly rendered like Steven
Tyler's face after several botox injections. If you want to help redeem their hopes, or just don't
give a hoot, render this car with your editing skills and make it the best you can create!"

CAR: Bugatti Veyron 16.4 ’09
LOCATION: Special Stage Route 7 (Please attempt to avoid tunnel shots.
The lights in the tunnel attract more photo opportunities than other locations of the track).

Love NBD's, Miklad's and Nato's entries... Just voted for Nathan's Veyron. Looks superb! :)

Don't get me wrong. But this week as all about putting Veyron a Premium car ("what should have been") and the winner shot (nothing against DarkR, but yes against the criteria of the people voting that doesn't read the "theme") has a normal standard veyron. On the other side, the cars shots that really look premium and followed exceptionally the rules and the theme, got a few votes (except the ceilling_fan shot, that, for me, would be the fair winner).

I don't want a standard looking veyron in GT5.

I highly recommend to put a description on the poll with the theme and the objective of the entries. It's not the first time (and I've been here only about 2 months) that the winner shot has less to do with the week theme than others, more into it.

I'm sorry for being honest. :) I say it again, my words have nothing to do with the authors. ;)
 
It was about making the Veyron look premium, but voting always generally goes towards the best looking photo and not necessarily the one that best 'fits' the theme. However the Veyron in DarkR's photo, though not cleaned up as such is shot from an angle and distance where the car doesn't look too standard and the overall composition, colours, toning, grains and other editing are all excellent making it a very worthy winner. As far as premium goes as I think Miklad had the most premium Veyron - that was a superb clean up as was ceiling_fans and a fair bit of effort went into a number of others as well. 👍
