Although not perfect with the occasional jaggies (especially at the top of the windscreen of the XJ13), No.5 definitely heads the pack by miles with that composition, angle and crispness of the photo

because:
#1 - what GT-R is the main focus on? #12 or #3?
#2 - great editing job so that no jaggies appear from the standard cars which used to be notoriously jaggy but the picture doesn't capture me any further than that.
#3 - The problem lies with the #39 SC which is notoriously easy to overexpose itself under sunlight, and this is where it turned me off
#4 - Great chase scene, but the background were miles away from the benchmark set by #5
#6 - This did a better job at exposure control for the #39 SC, however as for #4, the background was simply no match for #5
#7 - Great show of cars, however, a few points got me deciding to skip this: 1) the tyre marks on the track (made it look a bit deliberate as there are better ways to do it), 2) the overexposed sky
#8 - Not the most interesting of angles there is
#9 - The sunlight got the best of the 88CV, might be better if the Pescarolo swapped places with it
#10 - I think this had the best composition of the cars in the poll (yes even better than #5) but the overexposed sky blew it.

This was my entry below, I had to make it a bit darker to facilitate the #39 SC, and your feedbacks are appreciated.

I'd have many of the same comments you made about the poll entries on yours. Your focus seems to be on the GT-R at the back but as the whole photo is fairly dark, the Denso draws attention away. Also, it (the Denso) has lost quite a bit of detail to overexposure. The composition is....I dunno. I can see some motion there but it just feels like a clump of cars. A more overhead angle may have made it more interesting.

For my part, I voted for the first one.

Thanks for the feedback.👍

I was driving the black GTR at the back. The SC was hell too bright when i shot it (even worse than the two Yellow cars up front) so i had to turn down the EV value, but then the black GTR would melt into the tarmac so I had to refrain from turning down EV excessively.

I find myself in a well known dilemma: deciding whether to vote for the best photo or the photo that matches the theme better...

Great poll by the way :)

Could I have some feedback on my entry please?

your shot seems to be along the lines of poll entry #10, and undeniably the exposure control of the sky in your shot was even better.

But IMO that shot got in because it was taken on an angle so that all cars can be seen in a manner that they don't get most of the car hidden, whereas your shot did (the Lister Storm behind the ER34). The other Archilles' heel in your shot was that it is rather stationary.

I thought everyone who made it to the poll matches the theme perfectly.

Great poll 👍

This was my entry:

Did I take too much of a risk?

I get the feeling I should have entered this from my gallery instead, but oh well..

The lens flare at the back of the pack made all cars in that bunch look like as if their backsides are on fire. (due to the mixing of thrown up rainwater and light flares)

The other major drawback (only visible upon clicking it full size) are the #'s near the headlights, especially at the front of the pack (the 787B and R89C in particular) which made this shot quite an eyesore to look at in full size (although not as much of an eyesore as mine, my apology in advance should that make you upset)

Feedback please.

I think it can be better if the SC is positioned behind the Supra in the manner that the Supra is behind the NSX i.e. a train of GT500s, and the Supra's window is telling me that it is a bit overexposed

Good job with the feedback matt thats more or less what I think of each photo 👍

Sometimes, it's not necessary to control the EV in the game. With Photoshop there are many ways to control exposure levels in different parts of the image.

trouble is, with the situation of the #39 SC, as DigitalBaka put it, a bit of detail for the SC had already lost due to the initial over exposure.

Congrats Mitch! Beautiful picture. I was torn between your entry and Gtuneds - the latter has a really good interpretation of the theme. But you also caught a very special thing in you pic, mitch - when viewed in full size the sensation I get is very close to how it feels to be on a real track. Well done 👍

Congratz Mitch. 👍

No vote for me...okay. The shot is a rush-off since i don't have time to take new shots but i'm glad by just making into the poll. :D
