I think the main issue is the 86 concept seemed to have blended in with the town, the most outstanding bit was the bar rather than the car

Too focused, you should had reduced a bit.
& I can't even understand if that's the black mask , GTR'07 or the Proto tbh

If you look on the front of the car, you have the answer.

It's a GT-R Proto of 2005 with Aurore Blue Pearl (of the GT Academy).

It's nice shot ,but too simple ,imo. A minimum of details in the background must be compensated by details of car or some original composition .

It's great shot ,really 👍👍👍 but SEPIA !!!??? Sepia filter is very specific. This filter would come up for shooting retro cars and even then not always.Don't think that shooting cars of the future with that filter is good idea. Anyways, shot is great and it would have been in the poll if if it was without sepia filter.

I know it's standart and sometimes it's really hard to make great picture with standart car . 👍👍👍 for using standart. I think picture is little bit simple . Maybe not the best choice of place on the track or angle or even maybe a car choise. It's something missing...

It's dark because of filter . But exposition level is really high and some parts of the car are overexposed . And you "cut" it too much .

Here was my entry, no where near as good as those up top:

It only took me about 10 minutes to set up, and I don't really like it that much. I had a different pic of the Nardo that I was going to enter, but didn't. It was much better than this one. Comments?

I think composition is little bit "boring". If you change angle it will be better and if you make aperture lower (focal lenght is 500) you can get nice bokeh. I saw your rejects on flickr and there is one picture that I would choose.

I voted for the Mazda because it would eat me if I didn't .

Great idea with partial color filter 👍 I think you need to change camera location and shutter speed ( Don't think that car is parked ) because there is no sense of speed at all + that lights looks ugly in GT ,but it's not your fault

The car is traveling at 220MPH, but I couldn't take a pic at anything more then 1/250, and in order for the lights to come out the way I wanted, I ended up using 1/8000. Thanks for the feedback.

I know, but if you have a car going 220MPH and you camera is mounted on a tripod, it is going to be blurry.
Before taking the picture, I did not know about the different panning modes, I will be experimenting with those next.
