"Just take any car from any country of origin NOT included in the following list;
Japan, USA, UK, Germany, France and Italy.
As this might throw a few standards in the mix lets keep things on the road so no Photo-travel."

Cars: Any that are not from the countries mentioned.
Locations: Any track
Phototravel: No.
Unique Restrictions: As above.

@ Fat Buff Guy - Good choice of car - maybe too much black space over the top half of the image and a different car colour/filter would have been better.

Thats fair. I really like the negative space and the naturalish flair shining through. But I can very easily see where it would be off putting to someone.

I hope you don't mind a second perspective? The photo would look better with the car in the bottom left corner and a higher shutter speed to reduce the boldness of the rims caught in motion.

When viewing your link, go to actions, and view all sizes, then select which size you would like to display and copy it.

The shadow line is good at its position and brightness. The only thing that needs changing is the rim color. The choice of yellow is too soggy with the amount of saturation and stands out like a black man at a KKK meeting. But, more of a gold finish would save those rims and the entry from disapproval.

I know it's unusual to ask this but if anyone's willing to take the time could i get some feedback on how i could have picked up a few more votes? Don't get me wrong im thrilled to have gotten the number of votes i did especially in a 2.0 week, im just looking for ways to improve?

Was it the photo was a bit pale? (This issue stood out to me most)

My best results usually come from rushed entries. Ever since I got too busy to spend much time and effort on my entries I've won more comps than I ever had. Whenever I do put in the extra effort the entry often performs poorly! Go figure.

The numbers could have shown a bit more exposure and the aperture could have been increased by a notch or two to capture the satellite dishes better. I especially like the photo with the car's color and the wintery morning feeling.

I think that if the car was more saturated, it would have done a bit better. The mood was great, but the car doesn't pop out at you like you might expect. Also, the lighting wasn't outstanding in my opinion, I think it would have been better if the light was more on the car and the sky wasn't as overexposed. Overall, it is a very good photo, though. I think the best piece of advice I can give you is to not be in a poll next to DarkR.

I always run the polls for 5 days, this allows for the event of a tie and a 24 hr tie-breaker poll and still gives the eventual winner a little time to come up with a theme so that the next weeks comp can start on time. Also allows for delays in time zones too somewhat - especially when it comes to private messaging.
