I always thought the photomode comps were supposed to help you enjoy photomode more, it's not all about winning... right?

Indeed you're correct in that. What I mean was, then it's not worth entering this when it's basically the same routine over and over and that's not fun (or at least not for me)

The thrill is in the pursuit my friend. Trust me, I've been in your position countless times before.

Look at it this way, each time you've been disappointed only adds to the pleasure that you'll attain when you achieve your goal, you get what I mean?

I think I'll give it maybe a few more shots, but as any racer without good results there comes a time when you say it's not worth it.. Maybe I should try out some of the other comps as well..

Don't give up, i got the impression that i was wasting my time when i first started, i rarely made poll and didn't for probably my first 9 maybe 10 weeks but now I'm pretty consistently making polls, when you experiment more you find out what works and what doesn't and more so why your pictures aren't currently working, learn from your mistakes so that they aren't repeated.

When i first started entering i was putting pictures like this in expecting a win

but now i see its way too dark and pretty out of focus, its a bit dull as well.

I then started enter in things like this, it didn't make the poll but it was much better than what i started with
