Based on Bloc Party - Blue Light song, I want you to show the bluest "light". It's basically a blue car, anywhere you want.

Take any British car to any British Track/Location.
CARS: British cars.
LOCATIONS: British Locations

edit: is it ok to explain my shot here and how I thought about the theme? Or does that sway the poll? If not, thats why I choose that pic:

I thought it would fit the theme pretty good because there is everything dark and black around, only the car shines in blue and therefor reflects the theme "bluest light"

And damn, I like how DM captured the theme. He did the total opposite of me. That should fit the knock-out system pretty well👍

I wasn't even going to use the kart, I was trying to use two identical cars at different speeds to get a motion blur off of the profile of the foreground car.

Wow, my match is close! Now that I'm on a proper monitor (IPS panel iMac rather than a POS generic CRT), I can see that bmxmitch and GT_Johan's shots are truly great (looked really dark on the CRT)

Hint: It's at the end of the Grand Stands on the front stretch from a standing start at High Speed Ring. Closest one at the end of the poll wins if nobody hit's it exact.

Great shots everyone. BMX, that is the best standard I have seen, won my vote. Awesome interpretation DB, looks great, that car is sooo crisp. Cool feel Jason, fun too - the colours really POP. One word for you atlop - FFAAASSSSTTTTT!!!!, you really caught the theme. Lellep, your subtle fisheye does really neat things to the shape of the Macca, it adds some edge to the wing and tail section:tup:👍. Johan - grrreat attitude, I love drift shots where you can see where the driver is looking. MBS, great sense of speed and directionality, awesome grain, also neat how the smoke is obscuring the car a little bit. Kudos to all, it's an honour to be competing against you.

@bmxmitch: My idea was to make a shoot with an Alpine as well (I just didn't have the time). In fact, if their cars were Premium in GT5, I'd have gone with "Alpine Bleu" as my first choice, and only then I'd turn to Subaru's "WR Blue Mica".
I admire your choice and I think the result is fantastic. You made that little Standard sing.

I don't know how fast the karts go in GT5 - but according to wikipedia they have a top speed of 185 km/h so I would say the red car runs at a speed of 215 km/h or 133 mph.

EDIT: forgot to say: Fantastic photos again this week 👍 It's so great to see the interpretations of the themes.

Wow, the quality in this round is astounding! All the choices were hard for me, more so than previous rounds in either PMC or 2.0, so I've just now got to it. I would post my reasoning behind the votes, but I'll wait until the poll closes to avoid any potential swaying, if it could be considered as such.

Would've been interesting if you used the same car. And maybe our match would've been closer then...

But you deserved it to be in the semi-final mate.👍 I simply think my shot was a bit to dark.
