Further explanation of the theme, provided by philkillv2:

It's a tribute to Ayrton this week folks; take a Honda NSX (not an Acura) around Suzuka!

CARS: Honda NSX only (either road-going model)
LOCATIONS: Suzuka
AUTOVISTA/HOMESPACES: No
CUSTOM LIVERIES: No
UNIQUE RESTRICTIONS: None

Please, ensure you read and understand all requirements for this competition. Failure to follow
the rules may result in disqualification. If you have questions, send a PM to SlipZtrEm, Scaff, or Terronium-12.

  • It is recommended you host your image on ImageShack, Photobucket, or Flickr.
  • Not sure how to post a thumbnail or preview image? Read this sticky!
  • Please use a clickable-preview to full-size, not a separate text link for it; it makes poll creation much easier!

  • No post-FM4 editing, besides rotating and proportional resizing, is allowed.
[*]In the case of Big Shots, you may resave in a more web-friendly file format
(though you will want to hold onto the original for the week).
[*]One entry per user. It must be your own work, and never previously used in a comp.
[*]Do not ask other users to choose your entry.
[*]Mark your FINAL ENTRY clearly, with red text. On H2H weeks, which side, as well.
[*]You may change your entry once. Do it clearly; edit out your previous entry, and
either post the new one in a new reply, or in place of the original.
[*]When submitting, use either a thumbnail or a preview image, as a clickable link to the full-sizer.
[*]Preview images can not exceed 500 pixels in either direction.
[*]A preview image must be representative of the full-size image. Do not add effects to it.
[*]Do not post "Honourable Mentions" or outtakes - just your Final Entry, that's all.
[*]Winner gets to choose the following week's theme, as well as the Top 25. Every fourth
week, the poll will be H2H style: entries must choose a "team", leading to two 12-picture,
4-day polls. The winners from each faces off in a final 48 hour poll.
[*]Winners cannot enter in their own theme!
[*]The Host may ask for the original image and it must be submitted if so, by uploading to your storefront.
For this reason, it's recommended to save the original image until week's ends.
Failure to follow these rules will result in ignored entries and/or disqualification!

If this continues with low participation, I´m seeing the competitions closing due to the lack of entries :(

A competition is only as strong as the participants involved not the number of them.

The competitions won't be closing any time soon; this just makes it much faster for me to compile polls :P

Although I 100% support the right of the winner to choose the theme for the competition (to the victor go the spoils ), I think this week part of the low turnout was probably due to the restrictive nature of the theme...bascially 2 cars to choose from on a single track.

As neither competition has hit its poll size yet, these will be open until I get home (and post up the GTP ones). So get those last-minute entries in!

Updated my entry.

I agree rman. I never really cared for the CCCL competitions on GTP. Too restrictive for me and this competition feels too much like that theme. Hopefully next week won't be so restrictive and more people will submit.

I get a good shot and i think "hell yeah i like this one." Then i go over to this thread and i see so many of you guys are on the same corner that i just shot at -.-

I have a question to please if someone can answer me in a private message. Why is flickr automatically downsizing my photos? I uploaded it as 1920xsomething and when i go to the actual pic its only 1024x576. Someone help me please.

I think the max size Flickr allows when you have a free account is 1024px. Photobucket max length is 800px.
