I have the issue were the brake will register as on just a little bit after ive let off the brake completely, I've noticed it doesn't show anything until I apply the gas and then it shows about 5% brake applied as well, I have cleaned it well and assume I will need a new load cell. Is this rare or do these load cells have limited life? I have been using my CSP for a solid year about an hour a day.

Have you tried to adjust the load cell? Each way, end to end has a MASSIVE difference in braking ability. This could be the root to your issue. Every one has a different driving style, hence why the load cell is such a great feature.

Ahh, I did not see where you said you have had them for about a year. Well, maybe you might need to replace the foam piece inside the brake. It is not hard to take the pedals apart and put them back together. I am NO tinkerer, but did it myself with NO issue. Just watch Thomas' tutorial on the CSP's.

As for load cell life, from what I know it should NOT wear down if you regularly clean it, and have the tuning kit. But, this is how I fell, I have only had my CSP's for about 1.5 months, and have made several changes to them spring and throw wise.

I cleaned and lubbed , problem is fixed, but now I have to push extra hard to get brake to 100%, Im guessing its time for a new load cell, this sucks cause there back ordered, I should have got one ahead of time.

This may be a stupid suggestion but did you make sure the brake adjustment knob is where you normally have it. I made that mistake after messing with my club sports; I had the knob twisted to where it required more force. I felt like an idiot when I finally figured it out.

It could be a crack on the load cell (the metal). (That’s what happened to mine)
If you can, take it off and examine it carefully.
If is broken, send them a photo and ask for replace.
They sent me a new one (in one week time, free of charge:tup:).
