How good is this product? I mean when It comes to stability does it actually clamps better than just having a fanatec wheel itself? I am considering getting this since my Carrera wheel starts to slip forward whenever I shift to 2,4,6.

Im just hoping that the clubsport table clamp will be able to clamp into a desk that is this thin.

I have a Fanatec GT2 with the Clubsport Table clamp and I can tell you it is a massive improvement over the regular wheel clamp.

The Clubsport anchors the wheel about as well as hard mounting. It's a good alternative and also has the shifter mount integrated with it. And regarding your table, the clamp can anchor to a table of just about any thickness.

The only drawback is that if you have the wheel tilted as high as it can go it likes to slide down over time, and to adjust the screw that it mounts on you will need to find a 1/2 in. socket or a wrench (the screw needs to be very tight to stay in place). Fanatec sends the necessary Alan wrenches with it to assemble it. It is well worth the price though.

I'll be sure to take your advice 👍
I am also curious about the shifter holder, why is it included if there are already those aluminum chopsticks included when you buy the set of gear shifters? Is it more adjustability in where you can have the shifter to be at?

It is a lot sturdier. There's probably no movement in it while chopsticks may flex a lot.

Thanks so much for the replies you two. I am certainly satisfied now of getting one but have to wait to receive it until the end of November for Fanatec to restock them :grumpy:
