Okay so heres the deal. I am constructing a clutch system and handbrake for my DFP. I have the simple idea of wiring a simple circuit from the shifter that will disable the shifter connection unless the clutch is depressed. It will be something simple but will teach me good habits of driving standard. It will also have a toggle switch that will bypass the pedal so it will be just like a regular DFP for anyone else that doesnt want to have to use the clutch. Now for the handbrake. I am going to get a real handbrake setup from a wrecked car and wire two connectors onto it that will complete the O button circuit by itself. This, along with the DFP shifter setup will be mounted on my right hand side to emulate real driving conditions.

Does anyone have a setup like this?
How hard is it to disconect the shifter setup from the DFP?
What are your imputs?
And is there any other way to set up a clutch system, I searched but came up vauge.
