According to g25 and g27 users the clutch is disabled in the demo. It is possible to do some form of a clutch cheat with GT5P as far as I know. I use a DFGT so none of that for me :)

No, I don't think he is cheating.

If you are referring to the lack of a red flash on the the throttle bar when he changes gears, I think you'll find it is a compression issue.

The game runs at 60 fps and the red is a brief flash.

The in-game replays run at 30 fps so it is harder to see the red.

Youtube compresses the file again and the red flash is gone.

Try watching your own replay and you'll see that the red flash is harder to detect than when in game and you see the whole bar flash red.

So here's what I've found on youtube

the guy's using seamless gear changes and the question is how? Any ideas?

I use a G25. It has a clutch and non-clutch modes. Some games do not support the clutch feature. In non-clutch mode you can use the shifter in a sequential pattern or use the paddle shifters on the wheel, I use the paddles to keep both hands on the wheel. If you have a choice, most gamers will choose the sequential mode for speed and accuracy. Hope this answers your question.

I thought that at first but I think it's a replay bug. The replays aren't really representative of the inputs and lap time.
