Clutch implementation in GT7 - in 2026

It still seems to suck. How disappointing. Just got the new Logitech H shifter and had hoped that PD had improved the clutch's realism, but no - within a few shifts I find myself in N, and then even if I depress clutch and whack it back into one of the gears, it won't actually put me back into gear. It seems to want to force me to go back to the same gear that I was in before landing in N. Lose a few seconds. Game over. Not worth risking it.

Why is it so hard to get it to work like a normal clutch?

I’m in the Fanatec ecosystem, but what I’ve done is just set narrow engagement parameters in game. You loose a tad of “nuance” if that’s what you’re looking for…but it makes driving with the clutch actually doable

On the main menu in the upper left you can go to your various IG settings. In the screen-wide menu there’s controller settings. It’s in there 👍🏼


It’s in pedal calibration. Just set the minimum/maximum values close-ish together. I have probably a 30% spread between the two

I don't see this setting anywhere. I looked in controller settings. I looked everywhere else in the GT7 in-game settings.

Are you 100% sure about the info provided? Can you take a look and give me a bit more detail about how/where to find these settings?
