Clutch in GT5P

I have been playing gt5p ever since it came out in Japan and I just found out that you can use the clutch with a G27... Has it always been on there? I noticed that you have to put the car in reverse on the shifter before it activates the clutch..
 
Or just press triangle while on the loading screen.

Also, yes it has been there since the beginning.
 
i just purchased the g27 today and i have found that holding down the top button of the diamond configuration on the shifter (where the triangle would be on a normal dualshock) right after you you select start race, will activate the clutch.
 
Don't need to hold it down, just press triangle (top button on the shifter unit) when you gain control of the car.

Clutch function has been there since GT5P launched in December 2007.
 
i wish the flippers would work of the G27 in GT5P.
 
yeah I want paddles working, not there on my G25 (sequential on my shifter is broken), shifting the f2007 with 6 shifter really doesn't work :P
 
Paddles will work in GT5 for the G27 and G25's without changing back to sequential mode, just like the GT5 TT demo.
