I just wanted to post my idea about GT7 to add an option to only be able to shift when pressing the clutch.
Currently, even with an H-pattern shifter and clutch pedal, the game allows players to shift without using the clutch, which takes away the authenticity of the manual driving experience. A clutch-only option would add a layer of challenge and realism, especially for players who enjoy practicing real-world shifting techniques.
Would it be possible to consider adding a setting or option that enforces clutch use for shifting? This would align Gran Turismo 7 even closer with other racing simulators and give players the opportunity to experience manual driving as it would be on the track.
What do you guys think about this?
