Who doesn't enjoy a good 6-24 hour endurance race. I can think of a few people and they tend to be the ones who don't have the hours available to stick around for that time. Now that interaction is becoming a lot more online, It starts to make sense to bring the career mode into the online world. I don't mean to get rid of the single player aspect. Rather if there is a large grid, friends can join in on your race to create a more exciting race (and possibly challenge you if you both get ahead of the field).
Not only that but as I was saying with the endurance races, you could also invite people to be part of your team so you can attack them together by swapping drivers out mid race. When finished, you all get your share of the reward.
I just believe that in this day and age, having this sort of co-operative gameplay should be available. It adds new dynamics that is only seen in the hardcore sims but it's nothing no single person would get and it's just something that let's anyone play the game without it being casualised as much as GT6.
Thoughts?
