cockpit setup almost complete..

well im almost done with my setup, nw it may not be as clean as others but i am more than contempt with it. here is what i have. and how much i aquired it for, with some patience. i have saved hundreds of dollars on my setup.
it aint as kool looking as others but its all mine and i love it..

lets start with the chassis, picked up from Craigslist of a gentlemen who sold it to me for a mere $60. i kid you not. apparently his son went off to college and he wanted it out of the house. it also came with driving force pro witch i use to drift. got this in December

then i purchased DFGT off a guy on Craigslist for $60 in January, it died out a month later. called Logitech and got it replace within to weeks with a brand new one.

got ichiban pedal plates from a yard sale for $5.

went to home depot and made a setup for surround sound speakers. hooked up surround sound system i had laying around in the garage.
its so sweet when you can hear a car approach you from the left or right..

the driving force pro paddles did not work, so i made a shifter and an e-brake for drifting. then i applied the mod to DFGT. it just feels alot more natural.

and just last week. i picked up a buttkicker off Craigslist for $65. with everything amp kicker and wires. my GOD this this is awesome. some tweaking but all in all cant complain for the price.

next upgrade is the g27. just found one on craigslist for $125.

its a dream to use. so much more immersed when racing. plus the butt-kicker definitely bring up that factor. havent had the time to use it very much since i put the butt-kicker.. wife and i just had a baby...
 
Sweeeeeeeeeeet. All you need now is two additional screens for that true fully submerged experience.

You have already gone to such an extent just set up mirrors perfectly so when she enters the room to complain about something the mirrors reflect to make it look like the wall is there but really there hiding two extra tv's. It will trick her so good
