And we should have a button to toggle this option. Did you race in cockpit view mode ever? You gave us two options:
  • to race blind, with no race info at all (position, lap number, time, weather conditions etc.)
  • to race with two sets of instruments overlapping (the car interior instruments and the virtual ones).
Thank you in advance.

You can disable them separately in the [Start] [Settings] menu in the main menu.

Sorry for my English.
Yes, it's true, but that's not a handful solution. From time to time we need to check the fuel level and the tyre wear, though. 👍

Like @VBR said too, a toggle button is needed for those info.

What I would like is the possibility to dim the light of the HUD and race info.
I do a lot of night racing, and the bright HUD etc is sometimes really disturbing !
And a choice of different HUD's would also be a nice touch.

Edit: typo :dunce:

This is a no-brainer in this day and age of nearly complete customization of online experiences you can get with so many different devices/apps/websites etc. PC Sims are way ahead in this regard and also have the advantage of allowing third party HUD apps that work both in game and via bluetooth/android on a tablet or phone. PD could do the apps as well, they'd probably just do them in house. It would really enhance the GT experience IMO to have a completely clean main screen and then another off to the side with your choice and layout of HUD data or at least the ability to customize your HUD and move it around the screen at will, perhaps with the ability to save some preset layouts for qualifying, race, testing etc.

Something like this where we can mix and match individual data pieces and move them around the screen to a location of our choice.

Please bring in Assetto Corsa's level of options, where you can display exactly what you want, where you want.

I know you'd never be able to have all of the same apps and extra goodies, just the ability to choose each HUD element and where it goes will do.

Admins, please, move this thread to the "Suggestions" - "Features" section. I was sure I did open this there. I'm very sorry. Thank you. 👍

And please get rid of unrealistic black (too dark) shadows when using cockpit view!! You can't see original car dashboard with those very dark shadows. I know you won't fix anything more in GT6 because you have abandoned your customers and working on GT7, but think about it - we are your next customers. Don't dissapoint us.

P.S. I hope unrealisticly black shadows and unrealistic aero physics won't come back in GT7...
