Just thought I would create a thread for all the 360 MW2 players. Please post your 360 username and where you are in the world.

Offline has its own ranking system seperate to online. It is a level system for you and all your friends when they come over for split screen.

Well, I will be laughing at my nephew now. He was spending his time on it all day today, but I though it will coexist with online but oh well. I hate ranks anyway.

I'm not adding my name, MW2 is terrible online. It's just kids camping with the FAMAS or .50 cal and calling in support after support. They've ruined the online experience, I'm already going back to MW1.

Same here. And how do you camp with the .50 cal? Isn't that sniping? FAMA is a poor choice for camping, too.

Really? I am getting use to the INTERVENTION..or how ever you want to call it. Though its offline T-T. I hope that they have claymores because you can't really defend a close position with a 50 cal or throwing knife.
 
When you had to defend the DSM module...I am probably thinking something else. I just camped with a LMG and another LMG.

I've yet to get above 25 on MW2 but on CoD WaW I managed one game at 59 kills.
 
I see we're lacking ability to follow a simple system :p

10 days on, and the online is still poor. Campers absolutely everywhere, bad hit detection in every game and poor matchmaking. Absolutely horrible in every single way. My ping has actually got better too so it should be playing better whereas actually it's gotten worse.
 
Yeah the camper situation wasn't so bad at first but it is absolutely terrible now. And the hit detection seems like it's just retarded lag. I've had everyother killcam where I thought I should have killed him show me come around a corner and not even fire off one shot looking like an idiot when on my screen I came around the corner and got off more than a few rounds INTO the guy before dieing. Frustrating indeed
 
I so agree with the above two comments. I don't really have a problem with the hit detection (although I do seem to die many times when I'm already around a corner) but I just can't abide the campers and the basic immaturity of a large percentage of the people playing online. Matchmaking by region is HORRIBLE, although there are thousands of players playing in the Asia region esp. HK, Taiwan, Japan and Korea I rarely get into and local game unless I invite myself into a 'friends' game but even them it's often a US/Euro game. Australia would be ok too but again getting into an Aussie game is a rarity. My friend has flat out refused to play it now and gone back to WaW instead and I have to say, I'm not far behind him.

In all honesty MW2 is not a particularly great game in many ways. Single-player is beyond daft and just feels like you are playing a series of set pieces (although all CoD's are guilty of this) and the online limitations we've touched on above. All hype and very tiny trousers.

btw, I'm juanchai if you haven't already added me and I'm based in Hong Kong (so there will be lag unless you are based is Asia or Aus.)
 
My brother and I have been playing the game a fair amount, but between school and work, we've fallen pretty far behind my friends. Last I checked, we were just about to hit level 30 (wooo!). We spend most, if not all of our time playing Team Deathmatch... My brother usually does the typical stop and shoot with the assault rifles, while I'm a run-and-gun SMG kind of guy.

I've noticed my games have gotten crappier and crappier and I truely do belive the campers have attributed to that. I'm level 67 right now and I usually do team deathmatch with an F2000 silenced w/ Mars sight and the Model 1887.
 
What kind of gun is the F2000? I just got it today, but I know nothing about it.
