Codes???

I need some help. (i know somebody's gonna' quote that)

I recently went onto the ''10 fastest times'' list on my GT4 arcade el capitan, and when i pressed ''start'' - a little gold box came up saying four different codes in it - what on earth does this mean???

I believe it's a code that can be entered on a leaderboard. Try searching the forum, you'll find it.

I read on GTP somewhere, I think in a post by Famine, that the box that appears has to do with a trial version of an online mode that GT4's developers tried out in Asia for a while before abandoning it. Don't quote me on that, but I think that's the general idea. So what LancerEvo7GSR said is true, but no longer applies.
