Colani’s team needed just under six months to realize this concept of a roadworthy sportscar prototype based on a BMW motorcycle engine. The Plexiglas hood fitted in the negatively shaped suitcase form. The low-lying 4-cylinder BMW turbo engine (1000cc) generated 160bhp and was made by Swiss fine-tuners Zoller - power transmission to the Lotus Super Seven rear axle was achieved by using a 4-speed BMW mc gearbox. Special characteristics: the rearview mirror attached to aerodynamic outsets. Only 90cm high and weighing in at a mere 550kg, the experimental sportscar boasted second-to-none acceleration.
