Has anyone else picked this one up?

I picked it up for $20 and I have to say that I like it alot.
It doesn't seem too far removed from CMR 3 which is fine in my book. You can now take any car and run a championship, which is a +, and I also feel that the graphics have been updated a bit. The car models look even better than before. The stages themselves are also more involved... I guess I mean more realistic.
The only down side I have with the game is that they removed the "hood" cam. Which is ok, I try and run the game from in-car.

You can also now test for upgrades after a rally, instead of merely unlocking them as you complete rallies. You are given two chances to complete the test, if you do the upgrade is yours. Pretty cool idea.

Overall though I feel that the game is worth the $20.

i just bought this tonight. Pretty good game...definently much better than CM3 and that god awful rallisport. It should tide me over until rallisport 2 comes out. I stil prefer V-Rally 3 on PS2 tho, the graphics arnt that great, but I have more fun in that game, and its more involved that CM4 is. CM4 is still a good game tho, especially for 20 bucks...but thats exactly what it feels like to me, a 20 dollar game

After playing it some more, my views on it have changed a little bit. I still stand by my claim that it feels like a 20 dollar game, but for different reasons now read it and you'll see why

Does CMR4 still have that wierd handling from CMR3 where the car feels like it is turing from the middle?

just bought it and i love it. 20 dollar game or not it feels tight, the weather effects are great, and theres no other game out there that got me so immersed in rallying. gran turismos rally section is such a bore, but this one felt just like the wrc broadcasts (sans official teams except the flying scotmans citroen). Highly recommended.
