I AM PLAYING COLIN McRAE 4.0 AND ITS AMAZING THE FULL GAME NOT THE DEMO DONT ASK ME HOW I GOT IT BUT IS AWESOME THE ENGINE IS SO SMOOTH SO REAL AND THE GRAPHICS ARE AMAZING IN JAPAN WHEN IT RAINS IT MEANS IT RAINS A LOT AND THE ROADS ARE VERY SLIPPERY AND THERE ARE LAKES ON THE ROAD U HAVE TO PLAY IT TO UNDERSTAND IT COMING 19-09-03

Anyone else find it ironic that they're launching it a week or two AFTER it's become public that McRae doesn't have a drive with Citroen next year?

Yeh I picked up CMR04 last week, fantastic rally game.. would easily be the best rally game I have ever played IMO ( CMR2 = close 2nd)
Wasnt sure if I was going to pick this up after playing the CMR3 demo ( ..urgh, very.. very bad ) but after reading several reviews from various forums I decided to throw the dice and take a gamble..
paid off bigtime!
BUT , cons :
- no bonnet view (...why!!!....)
- no "official" WRC paint schemes etc
- only 9 events, surely in this day and age they could include every event possible..
- variety of cars could have been improved
- handling still needs a bit of work
