Also, with Citroen and Peugeot leaving the championship next year, a new championship has been sparked called the S2000. WRC will have a mere 4 teams wereas rumours are the S2000 will have anywhere up to 8 teams.
OK, Rumours circulating for teams are:

Fiat: Punto
Toyota: Corolla
Volkswagen: Polo
Lada: 112
Renault: Rumour circulating is the Logan
Peugeot have shown interest.
Dacia also shown interest.

The S2000 cars will be simalair to WRC, 2.0l engines, 4WD and i have heard different things as to the turbochargers, some say there are and some say thee arent.

Interesting info.
Question: why was the S2000 serie created ? cost reduction ?

The main idea of S2000 is to bring more manufacturers into the sport.

Not only will it be cheaper, but those manufacturers who can't see the point of running a turbo 4WD WRCar to market their 2 litre econobox will be able to justify the sport. Almost every major manufacturer has a small, normally aspirated 1.6-2.0 litre car that could be turned into an S2000 car and run in the WRC for marketing purposes.

Lada in a rally stage oh thats rich. I cannot stop laughing lol.

Don't laugh, Lada actually has quite a rich rallying history.

I believe Markko Martin started his rallying career in a Lada.

And they still compete in rallies all over the world, like here:

I bet most of you don't know that Lada and Skoda 130 were even turned into Group B supercars :) .
