As much as it pains me, my pre-season pick is BYU for the championship. Houston could also be a real possibility. I think Purdue is overhyped, so is Michigan.
I'm just happy Oakland is actually on TV tonight since they're playing Michigan. I wanted to get tickets, but I wouldn't be able to get there in time based on what I have going on at work. Ann Arbor is like a three-and-a-half-hour drive. I'm still hoping things line up and I can go to the game at Little Caesars again, Michigan State, at the end of December.
Oakland's first three games are pretty brutal, too. They have Michigan tonight, Purdue Friday, and then Houston next Wednesday. That's the 7th, 1st, and 2nd-ranked teams. I would love to see them take at least one of those games. Michigan is probably their best bet to do so.
