College Basketball: UNC vs. Duke Will Lack Dick Vitale's Call

ESPN has announced today that legendary play-by-play man Dick Vitale will not call the 2015 UNC vs. Duke game, something that he has done every year since the network went on the air in 1979. Instead, he will be replaced at commentary by Dan Shulman and joining him would be former Duke player Jay Bilas. Vitale will now continue his role doing commentary for the Saturday midafternoon and select Weeknight games, something that he had done recently.

For those worried that Vitale might get pushed out needn't worry. In October, Vitale signed a new deal that would take the aging commentator through the 2016-2017 season.
