GTPlanet, this thread is reserved for a certain issue regarding the BCS system. It is told that this Wednesday at 10AM Eastern Standard Time. Whatever happens, I'd like to open this thread for discussion of what happened during this hearing, the final verdict, and of course... your thoughts. If I get a chance to find out what this was all about, I'll update this thread if I can. But then, you don't have to wait on me, just let me know while I'm browing the 'net at school and stuff.

As the BCS was under review by the a House Energy subcommittee by Congress, the end result was this:

"BCS: We choose not to have a playoff."

Apparentely, the thing is that Bowl Games are big business. So much of big business that they are racking up millions and billions in games. Some websites I've seen talk about "we need a playoff." I thought that there was going to be an end to the BCS and all. My problem is, the BCS probably works in the respect of having a postseason series that doesn't intervene with the National Football Leauge.
