This is starting to get to me. i feel like i wanted to play alot more when i could trade any car and as many as i wanted to. has the trading limit changed how you feel about this game? before i wanted to collect as many 0mile cars as i could but now this game isnt fun for me

i agree it really does suck a bit only 1 car a day and 5 paints an im not a hardcore trader, im a hardcore GT5 player, i just like the cars and driving them, sometimes it hard to get a car so i trade it like i would trade a football sticker at school ;)

Everyone wants it removed, mate. And I don't think this thread will help in any way.

I don't. I'd like trading to be removed altogether.

*Prepares to get flamed*

+1 I have only attempted to trade a few times and out of those time I didn't get scammed I just traded for cars I couldn't find in the UCD. I think most abuse the gifting system and are able to get cars they did not earn. Trading should be banned. If you need a car for a specific event borrow it from a friend.

I'd prefer there to be an unlimited limit as far as the money goes, but still just a single trade a day. Make some of the more 'special' cars untradeable, such as FGT, X2010, 20m classic's, etc.

And what exactly would be wrong with this? So what if I want a brand new 0 mile/0 switch Mitsubishi FTO Super Touring Car for my garage (actually, I want one in each color)? And what if I know someone who's willing to trade it for something I have and s/he wants? What exactly would be the issue here? Why do we need to ban this?

If it's about duplicating X2010s and selling them on ebay, surely, there must be a better way in order to achieve that that's not possible, or? Then again, yes, it has all been discussed to death already.

For the record, I don't care if people can or can not, or do or do not, duplicate. It doesn't bother me. What bothers me, though, is that I cannot trade for the cars I want, given this all was once possible and has then been taken away. Not that I see anything changing to how it is currently, but that's beside the point.

It takes a little effort but really isn't all that difficult to duplicate FGTs and 20m classics, so I, personally, find it a bit silly to not be able to trade the actual cars, given you can trade something that can give you these cars. I think they should just have made the X2010 untradeable and left it at that. Or, alternatively, find a way to prevent duplication, and allow all trading. After all, if you worked hard for your X2010, why shouldn't you be able to give it to a friend?

Problem is, you can't use borrowed cars online. I don't really understand the logic of coming to a thread about removing the trading cap, and opining about how trading should be banned for everybody because you're bitter that you got scammed.

If you don't like it, don't do it. Simple.

As for removing the trading cap, it should stay at one car per day, but the nothing over 1m credits thing is just absurd.

PD is giving credits away with all these seasonals.. heck, I have been sitting on 20M and buying cars to keep me under for the last two weeks.. I finally found the last car on my "wanted" list last night, the #1 Audi R8 Race Car '01 (red). The wait was worth it and very satisfied with the hunt!!

After saying that, do I agree with PD for the trade limit? NO!! Its not fair to those who just bought a PS3 and the game like my two good friends.

As they are entitled to. It's not like it's a problem.

The trade limit was useless from the start, it needs to go. There are some requests already in the feedback section. Those in favor should vote and boost the ranking of those requests.

Want a car you don't have?

Grind for it, and if he is a Standard, go to GT5cars.net and calculate in Used Car Dealership when the car you want will appear. Till them? Just GRIND. :sly:

Proud owner of two R8's from 2001 and a LMS '09.

PD HAD a proper trading system in GTPSP, we know that. But in GT5 they replaced it with Gifting. Ok, I didn't mind about it at first, but when 1.07 came out it was a nightmare. Come on PD, put a proper trading system in or remove the cap.

You guys do realize that most of the fun cars banned by the limit are acquirable through level 21,22,23 and 24 tickets, which are tradeable,... right?

Sadly I've reached the end of the list on GT5cars so now every game day is a new surprise waiting to happen.

If the majority of GT5 players want it removed, a petition might make kaz re-consider it. If we beg enough as a community maybe he'll atleast give us 1 day of no $ limit trading in a week, month or something.

So if you have the motivation, setup votes/petitions in the various GT5 forums and send the results to PD. Im sure PD is reasonable, they might reverse it if theres enough noise.
