PRT United GT Challenge Series - UGTC
It will be a 2 classes sprint/endurance race series, featuring a GT3, and a GTM class.
The GT3 cars will be, the typical GT3 cars of Gran Turismo 6 and a slightly slower class, the GTM class (which stands for Gran Turismo Modified)
The GTM cars are mostly road cars, full aero bodykits and flat floors, they race around 550PP (450-600hp @ ~1400kg)
These cars are in average 5-7 seconds slower per lap, as the GT3 cars, which have more downforce, wider tires (and wider chassis)
As GTM cars, we have:
All cars are running under a Balance of Performance, which means that every ar is +- the same, so this championship is not a PP-based championship.
After every race, depending on the finishing position, the BoP (Balance of Performance) will be evaluated.
First come, first serve for GTM: we have 12 different cars, only one car allowed per driver. For GT3, 2 cars per driver allowed.
Max. 8 cars per class.
This series consists of 2 championships:
1: The qualifyer. The qualifying will be a 20 minutes event, all cars drive together, and the there will be giving points.
Before the main race.
2: Start: Rolling start: Standing on the grid, arranging the positions to the results of the qualifying, one warm up lap, GT3 and GTM field are seperated. The race-championship. 60 minutes of race, with both classes on the same track, at the same time. Same amount of points as in the qualifying. Changing weather, day & night races included. Racing on "big" race circuits and street courses.
Tracks: (changable)
Points System: Under development
Balance of Performance: Under development
